Coordinator - Learning Technologies (OCSB)

(2015-2025) Responsible for many day-to-day priorities including:

Supporting the entire school board (Ottawa Catholic School Board) in using technology purposefully, including creating support and professional learning opportunities.
Overseeing the Learning Commons portfolio (Library) and the associated staffing (80 unionized employees) and their well-being and professional development, as well as the interviewing and hiring process.
Managing Budgets, working under the guidance of my department superintendent and Director of Education

Leader of Ottawa Catholic School Board central leader team (ILT) which consists of departmental Coordinators and System Principals. My role involves acting as a conduit to the Director of Education and the Executive, as well as moving projects and innovation forward.

System Lead - New Pedagogies for Deeper Learning

Chosen by our Director of Education to be on the leadership team of our whole system, and a representative of our board to the Canadian and Global Initiative (comprising of 13 different countries).

Assessment, Accommodation & Accountability network

District-Wide professional network on differentiating instruction and assessment practices, especially for those with Individualized education plans.

Intermediate Learning Connections (ILC) - Lead

District-Wide professional network on how to support students with Purposefully using Technology, as well as students with exceptionalities/learning challenges.

“Sens in School” - Ottawa Senators Hockey Club

Worked with Director and Coordinator of Community of Fan and Community development to oversee a writing team of local educators to implement lesson plans that blend hockey, the science of hockey, the Senators to curriculum expectations.
